Pre-qualification process reviewed and Short-list confirmed |

Today a 22nd PSC meeting was held. Among the most important agenda item was presentation of a Report on pre-qualification process of companies that have expressed their interest to participate in tender for development of new thermal power plant “Kosova C”, rehabilitation of certain units of Kosova A power plant and development of new mine in Sibovc area. The Transaction Advisors have presented their report after having reviewed the pre-qualification process that took place during 2006. The pre-qualification process has been reviewed from number of perspectives such as transparency, non-discrimination, objectivity and efficiency and as a result of this review the short-list of companies has now been confirmed by the PSC. The short-listed companies are: EnBW/WGI, CEZ/AES, ENEL/SENCAP and RWE. It is expected that the short-listed companies will receive the Request for Proposal by year end.
